Callow Rock is a newly formed stud situated in Somers on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. It is a family run stud with an empathises on breeding quality ponies which you can have fun with.
We are a family of seven, my husband Simon is a qualified farrier, myself; Helen after doing all the usual pony club activities as a child went onto work on a thoroughbred stud for a number of years and progressed onto racehorses from there.
I went onto work in Qatar for Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani where I worked in all areas, including race, show, endurance and stud. Simon also joined me looking after the many foundered horses in Qatar and Bahrain.
Children were the next stage in our lives , Emily, James, Oliver, Luke and William, so ultimately this led to ponies!
Emily has ridden for the last five years and James dabbles in exercising the odd pony for us after a short lived pony club and showing career!
We have also had a great deal of fun over the last few years bringing on youngsters that have gone onto be very successful in their new homes.
The younger boys are all showing an interest in the ponies and we look forward to bringing out Richdale Patriot (Weston Park Sherlock x Imperial Pin-up Girl) who has fondly been named Riot! by the boys, out under saddle next season, once Emily has finished his breaking and education!
We are very excited about bringing out Chance and we hope Australia will love him as much as we do.

Meet the Family!
